i just pick up a nice Svt 40 this afternoon but too bad the lady give me a sks pouch , with 7.62 x39 stripper clip ( at least they will be good for the cz) need to find the gas tool adjustment too , at the first look my 1941 svt seem to have a matching stock and bolt , only the mag is not matching , i will have some fun tonight to clean that ^^ , it seem i have a Ishevsk one

Picked up a 51 Tula at my local CT in Greenwood, NS. They let me pick through their stock and they had this 51 and a bunch of 53s, 54s and 55s (Tulas only). The 51 is a refurb with all matching numbers and no "forced matching", however, stock only has serial but no arsenal stamp... I suspect that only the stock was changed out during the refurb. Barrel is chromed and shows signs of use with lands and grooves still quite sharp, and firing pin does not have a spring... Bayonet is blued, but no extraneous bluing or paint on any other bits. No accessories included with the rifle.... 189.00.. Nice looking rifle, absolutely beautiful when compared to my Type-56 Chicom, which looks like an eight grader made the stock out of a 2x4 in shop class...

Here in Orange NS you can get a badass Daisy lever and maybe a paintball gun or two.

I miss Alberta.

Pembroke CT has guns - nothing milsurp though. They do a pretty good business too, almost every time I walk through there somebody is buying a 22 or a mossberg shotty. My wife got me a 535 for christmas last year there.

I've noticed they're starting to carry some related eqpt.. scope rings, rails and bipods. A couple spotting scopes. Nothing like the "gas n guns" store in pembroke, but without the overbearing opinionated gun shop owner.. so there's that.
