Gas Can,
thanks for the detailed input, that is awesome.. as of right now, im just thinking of getting into 3 gun or something like that.. So 1x is important, a little magnification is important as well.. I've decided to get the PEPR mount for my M&P15 and just trying to narrow down the optics. It sucks as i would like to hold these in my hand and have a look through them as well but will probably mail order them. In all honesty the Trijicon is probably a little out of my price range, between that and the mount, with tax would be $1g. I would probably like to get something more than the DMS-1 at $290 and at the absolute top end would be the Vortex PST 1-4, at $550.
Here are a couple others i was looking at that had my interest.
The Burris Fullfield Tac30 for $427 http://www.burrisoptics.com/ff30tactical1.html
and the Leupold VX-II 1-4 for $375 http://leupold.com/hunting-and-shooting/products/scopes/vx-ii-riflescopes/vx-ii-1-4x20mm/
Another thing that is important to me is warranty, i want to have these scopes for life and all come with a lifetime warranty. Vortex seems to be hands down the winner, sounds like Leupold is up there too.. Not sure how Millet and Burris is though..
