Use a pelican and slap on camera company stickers.

Any idea where to get eggshell foam cheap? I live in a border city and have a US mailing address.

Be careful with discreet cases. I used to play airsoft and a guy that I played with was charged with carrying a concealed weapon cause he used his old guitar case to carry his airsoft gun to and from the field.
Personally, I don't want a hassle from police, nor fear from the general public.
I travel for shooting competitions, which means lots of hotel rooms.
I use pelican cases. These days they are used for all sorts of things including musical instruments.
I don't put any stickers or slogans on the case. They seem to not raise any eyebrows.
When asked by the general public, what do I have there. I tell them sports equipment. Which is in fact the truth.
For the police, I would be much more clear about the contents of the case.
My 2 cents.
I call bull#### on that.
you can get a concealed weapon charge for a firearm or weapon being found in a vehicle you were operating that was "hidden" out of plain sight.carrying a concealed weapon charge usually refers to carrying on your person., not in a case.

If you couldn't be charged if it was in a case, all criminals would transport their firearms this way to avoid such a charge.

That's just retarded, that's what the transport laws call for for ####s sake.
no, transporting firearms using the guidelines set out in the act is not concealment nor is concealment stated anywhere as a requirement of the actThat's just retarded, that's what the transport laws call for for ####s sake.
"nor is concealment stated anywhere as a requirement of the act"
all examples/scenarios that have no bearing on my original post/example. There are numerous cases where people/criminals have been charged with having a concealed weapon when a gun was found hidden inside a vehicle that was in their care and control that would disagree with your initial statement. It is required in the act. Several places in fact.
It says your transport case must be "opaque" which means nobody can see through it. That means concealed.
It also says guns left unattended in a vehicle must be kept out of sight. That means concealed.
Shipping laws also require guns to be in discreet packaging. That means concealed.
