Looking for a rifle for moose hunting

I usually tell folks to look at anything from .270 Win or 7mm-08 on up with premium bullets on the heavier end of the spectrum. It does exclude the 6.5s, and I'm okay with that, even the mighty 6.5-300 Wby. Most people are terrible shots and the moose I've shot (even the cow moose) have been a lot bigger than the Nordic species typically grow. Any sporting rifle with a standard barrel length and standard scope magnification range will be fine. Used, new, bolt action, single shot, 2-7, 3.5-10, DBM, floorplate, rail mounted scope, one piece ring mounts, whatever. Don't overthink this, I have like 6 "moose rifles" in the safe. First ones I'd grab would be a Model 70 in .30-06 and a T3X in 7mm Rem Mag, and maybe bringing a .35 Whelen single shot for fun if there is some brush to push through.
