Looking for a shotgun, any brands to avoid?

Got a bps it’s such a beautiful gun with such nice wood it stays in the cabinet and my cheap Turkish shotgun has killed everything from doves to deer

The Remington 887 is a poor shotgun compared to the 870 or Winchester model 12!! The ones I've tried have not been good !!

Will suggest Maverick as well. Bought it as my first and only shotgun. Goes boom and is fun.

Next will be a semi-auto or side-by-side barrel.

+1. I acquired an 877 as part of a trade. I took it to the range and after one round of skeet I couldn't get it out of the door fast enough.

Agreed, I cannot abide any bottom load/eject shotgun, be it a M37, M10, BPS, etc.
I know that many love them though .....
