That would be like sleeping with a person that "looked" like your wife. The feel wouldnt be there.

Amen to that!

Gunblumbrr had a very nice Bulgarian AK-74 lookalike built outta a Valmet, cost a fortune in money and time... only Russian military lookin' AK that you can still shoot legally in Canada ;)

Damn canadian gun laws.

Cheers,
Alex

I understand that the CSSA is in the middle of a court case so we can shoot our evil guns once again. Perhaps it won't be that far along that they will have the classes dropped. A rifle is a rifle is a rifle after all!!

If you guys ever make it down to Duluth, MN/ Superior,WI let me know and we will build up an AK or 2. I love the Romanian AK's !

I thought we were not allowed to speak of that rifle? :D

A VZ58 is a decent alternative. I agree that it is nowhere near the same as an AK, but it is no worse than an AK. It is just not an AK...

Thanks for showing me that...I officially hate you!!

thanks for the help fella's. Any reason why its Prohibited?

Because they are a symbol of communism, holliwood portrayed them as the "official" gun of drug dealers when in reality most never used them. They are seen on the 6 O'clock news being used by terrorists, rebels and revolutionaries. On the other hand the M-16 is seen on the news as "the good guy" and a symbol of freedom/democracy and a savour. Some see it as politically correctness not morally or ethically correct.

I'm sure he's well aware of that and his statement is still correct. The average Canadian Can own neither an AK47 or and M16.
yes i am aware of that
and no the "average" canadian cannot own an ar15 either they must be approved and cleared by our communistic masters and meet all liberal requirments :p

talkin bout the big guns?!?!?!

well I guess its back to the expensive AR-15:(

not quite.

You can get an SKS which is cheap.

Or a CZ858, which looks pretty similair to the AK.

Theres also the VZ but that one is restricted.

Way to point your blame in the right direction.

Hate the past governments, not the country as a whole. Especially not our military.
No offense to any patriots out there, but who do you think elected the past governments? Snow White and the seven dwarves? We live in a democracy, so "the government does not make the country" argument does not quite fly.

The WRONG WAY and MAKE A BIG DIFFERENCE!!

M16 = Militarized AR15

Thanks for stepping in on this one boss, ya beat me to it.

I've personally handled live, Full Auto AR-15's.

They do exist, in fact, they existed for a number of years before the US Military type classified the rifle as the M-16 and had it so stamped.

Yes they do............MINE!

And now they need money to pay the bills so JOIN and lend your support.

I have a breakdown of the results of my court case in the 12.5 forum.

Publicly I can say that the judge has reserved his decision....should be 4-6 months before we get an answer.
