Looking for Feedback on those who use .50 Beowulf magazines

Yea that was in mine and a friends experience. Others may be able to get it to work but not my 2 and myfriends 1 G17. After 6 rds jams were constant and sometimes mags just spit rds through the lips. this was using any of another friends .40 mags from his G22. Now other guns CZ, Beretta, Sig Etc I can't comment. I think other makes than Glock might be luckier.

Beretta is good to go. The 9mm rounds don't pop out of those. SIG mags are touch and go. OK on the range if you don't bump them hard, but I wouldn't trust one in competition or with my life on the line. No idea on the CZ mags.

How many 9mm rounds can you fit in the .40 Sig mags?

on an magazine....that only holds 2 or 3 rounds more than a $29 XCR 7.62 pistol mag

As I understand it the 7.62 mags do not always work too reliably with 223. With the BW mags your not just getting a few rounds more. Your also getting a mag that has the same dimensions of a 30rd USGI mag without all the attemps as seen with LAR mags with couplers, tape, shrink wrap, lip protection etc. With the BW mags you get the real USGI pinned to 5.9rds .50 BW that gives you 16rds of 223 and that my friends is worth it. BTW I don't give a flying .... what I paid for them. I got them. And I would do it again.

friggin troll

Economies of scale Rivy

To some of us $200+ is fu<k all for a fun new toy

Just put Magpul USGI followers in them....

If you do that, I'd make sure to have some .50 Beo cartridges handy for testing. I'm not sure how the dimensions of the Magpul followers stack up to whatever it is that AA used (looks like a blue USGI), but when all these mags are pinned to 5.9 rounds any changes to the follower may result in that 6th round slipping in, which would be a no-no. Tread carefully!

Also, I do believe that most magpul followers have 5.56mm clearly shown on them. Wouldn't be a great way of reassuring people that the magazine isn't designed for 5.56/.223.

Just tried some out today. 5 hour of shooting later I can say they worked perfectly in 3 different ar's and an xcr. 16 on a closed bolt no problem. Props to cancer for getting these.

Not a big deal but I can't load a couple of mine to 16 on a closed bolt without a fairly violent smash to the mag to get it secured. Very fun eh guys? Makes me think of the old days, in a field back in the 80's with my first AR15. Ah the old days.

Only negative so far for me is ammo got more expensive sinse the 80's and these mags are starting to hit my ammo stocks hard lol.

All good things have a price though. And are worth it.
