Been hunting around the Sig site and various forums reading up on this gun, and have some questions.
I understand the .45 ACP version is a bit unique, but the 9mm / .357 Sig / .40 S&W share a lot of parts and are quite modular. Is there a document somewhere stating what exactly is and isn't exchangeable between these?
For example, if you look at the Calibre X-Change kits on the Sig site, they include a whole lot of pieces, not just the barrel and slide (for example they include the grip in each kit, but if you look the grip up separately the grip says it's for 9/.357/.40, so I'm not sure why it's needed in the Caliber X-Change kit?).
Anyway, aside from general interest, my specific question that got me headed down this path was the P320 RX full size model. Is it possible to buy a P320 RX and re-use the slide on the other calibers? It would be a great feature if the Romeo 1 sight could still be used when swapping calibers.
If not, are there plans for "RX" Caliber X-Change kits?
Bonus question - from my research I see the grips come in small/medium/large. Can the P320 be ordered in a specific grip, or does it come in a standard grip and then the desired grip ordered separately? If it only comes in a single size, what's the standard grip size and what's availability like on grips in Canada?
