ATRS MV:
2. The only rifle suggested in this thread that is 6lbs.

With slim profile barrel, the ATRS MV is 6.75lbs.
You're saying the rifle in that photo is 6.75lbs?
No, he did not say that, however he did say it in a way that implies such. Mine is lighter then that and is over 7 dry.
That's right. The pictured rifle is some pic I took off google. Owners of ATRS MV rifles report 6.75lbs for the slim profile barrel.

Lmao. PRS is almost 3lbs on its own. But I guess if the internet says so it must be true.

Wtf? Lol
First you come on stating the MV can be had in 6lbs (plausible) followed with a photo of a gun, based on experience, looks to tip the scale at +/- 10 lbs
Then you pluck 6.75 lbs out of the internets and now the photo is just some random pic of the internet too?
And we are arguing about stuff WE know nothing about?

On another subject, did anyone swap out the folder on their acr for the fixed?
im thinking of putting the fixed back on, i find it more confortable.
Could it just be me or is the fixed stock lighter as well?
Wtf? Lol

No kidding.
I honestly believe you can get a build down to 6lbs before any sights/accessories or mag, but one would have to be incredibly picky about their parts choice to save ounces anywhere possible. I chose a combination of comfort, features, and aesthetics over weight, and I still came out at 7lbs and change which is pretty good in my opinion.
Your scope mount is backwards.
Balance is more important than total weight savings in my opinion.
Wtf? Lol

When someone says something is a 10s car - they don't literally mean 10.0000000000000s. They mean "between 10.00 to 10.99". I was making the same statement when I said it was a 6lb rifle - as in "in the 6lb range" (notice NO decimal places??). Had I known I was going to get heckled by anal retentive trolls, I would have put some decimal places in my answer - lesson learned. I also didn't know that I was writing to a bunch of idiots who think that the weight of a scope was included when we are advising someone about the WEIGHT OF THE RIFLE. Lastly I didn't know including some random picture (for eye candy) of an ATRS with a scope would be so confusing to you when I said the "ATRS MV is a 6lb rifle" - note: the words "with scope" is missing from that statement. Perhaps next time I shall include a disclaimer "my statement does not in any way relate to the random picture attached" for more simple minded folks - that way we can focus on helping the OP.

Well I did not know I was a troll because that to me there is a difference between 6 pound and 6.8 pound. I guess its like saying my car at 400hp but really its got 340 hp but that's all the same I guess.
