Looking for opinions about a scope

I have both the 3200 and the Burris FF II. I keep the 3200 on one of my deer rifle due to the "Rainguard" which I like a lot, and when its not raining I use my Burris. I find the optics to be clearer on the Burris during the early morning and late afternoon hunts when the light is dimming.

What is it you are not Happy with on your Burris??

1st Burris was a FF II, point of aim would shift, also on reticle adjustment there was a section of clicks that would slide, no clicks. Sent it for repairs and they said nothing wrong with scope but they changed the reticle slide adjustment. Got scope back, point of aim all over again. Got rid of it
2nd Burris is Euro Diamond, Great low light optics but man o man its hard to adjust it, when your sighted in and posi-lock is engage, point of aim is dead on, and won't move but whenever you make small adjustment, you might go 1 click right for horizontal but it will go up 1-1/2''. takes forever to make small final adjustment. Stuck with it, will lose too much if I sell it.
Also own many Bushnell, couple of Leupold, Tasco, Weaver, Baush & Lomb etc
Not impress with Burris
Burris was my best low light scope till I purchased a new Leupold with Xtended Twillight Lens System, tried them side by side at sunset till it got totally dark, no comparison, the Leupold is way ahead, much clearer for the longest. You couldn't see with the Burris anymore and the Leupold was still OK to shoot.

Sorry Steve, you did a good purchase. Congrats. You won't regret it

Here's my baby wearing her new eyes lol

Leupold is the way to go just for the warranty. It will be repaired in Alberta within 10 days or they send you a new one. Everyone else has a very long period of repair. Bushnell, did not acknowledge that they had received my scope for 6 months. It then took them 3 months to tell me it would not be repaired under warranty. What a waste.

If I was going to spend the money on a VX1 I would bite the bullet for an extra $80. to get better glass and finer click adjustments in a VX2.
BTW Leupold bought the right to reproduce Redfield scopes in 2009 so we expect them to hit Canada early in 2010 and rumored price is the $300. range.

Redfields are here and the price point is well under $300.00, closer to 200. fs
