Long story short it got flagged by Canada post on its way to me they opened up the box and i imagine someone there dropped it on the buttpad as its also bent were the peice broke off , they never owned up to it , im pretty dissapointed, it was an expensive purchase
When it comes right down to it this is just a wood repair so a competent woodworker/repair person should be able to do a professional job on it. If the butt plate is an exact fit make sure they leave it on when doing the repair so you don't end up with a gap or rounded edge.Im gonna check that out thank you
Wondering if someone could help me out finding the right guy to fix this old rifle preferably in Ontario , its not a big job but a very nice rifle that id love to get running again, the damage is pictures below thanks in advance

What does "flagged by Canada Post" mean? What causes them to open the box?
