May I ask why shot is not allowed?. The only thing I can think of is people using tight chokes at close range and blowing big huge holes in the plywood target stands, I would HOPE that people don't do $hit like that but, people are people so........is that it or something else.

Yup they blow the hell out of the backboard.
They can use shot in the 3 gun bays or on the pattern board on the clays range.

Because when someone shoots zombie targets at 10-15 yards with shot, they destroy the backboards. One special kind of idiot actually shot our signs , that specified that shot can't be used, on his first and last range visit.
