Looking into an optic mount for CSA Vz

The Kwik rail is a great product but you are taking a bit of a gamble when it comes to your particular gun and/or your shooting habits. Not trying to bash it at all, it's a genius idea and it is a great buy. Just intended as constructive criticism.

I haven't finished getting to know just how my Vz58 ejects but the manual does say that the ejected casings should be directed up and to the right. So maybe a Kwik rail for a Vz58 will work better for me than the one for the sks.

I appreciate the honest commentary.

I should mention that I have had hundreds of rounds through my rifle with no issue, just not hundreds at one sitting, So far the overwhelming consensus seems to be that the rail does not interfere with ejection but I appreciate that everyone's circumstances can be different. I don't disagree with your conclusion about folks who want magnification being the best fit for one of our rails ... but ... what if you could indeed have the best of all worlds?

Well there is no doubt the rails make the guns look extremely ###y and I do like them to change their clothes now and then. I would totally try a Vz rail.
