I thought I'd post up some pics of a 9.3x62 project built from stuff lying around the cabinet that had been cast off and picked up here and there, I went out to see a good friend for a week in Nova Scotia (another 9.3 fan) Browning270 here on the site and between delivering calfs and rum and coke's we spent a couple of hours in the shop.
The rifle is a husky FN 8x57, barrel a douglas 22" 9.3x62 I got from Skit on the site here, a williams reciever sight from another project long ago and a front base and insert picked out of the cull pile
A little polishing on the barrel and headspace check before the initial install, here's a pic of the removal tool and old barrel
on the mill/drill for the reciever sight drill/tap, we went with 6-40 machine screws rather than the almost impossible to find 6-48's, Check out the nifty tap guide, works like a hot damn.
