waiting patiently. what do you use for the adpater? an aluminum 870/AR15 adapter piece? what do you fasten the adapter to the stock with?
There were actually THREE versions of the stock. First ones were USGI fiberglass stocks modded with real, chopped up mismachined AR receivers I used to get from an AR manufacturer. The back half only was taken and modded by mill and Tig to suit adapting to the chopped off USGI stocks. Doc911 got the first one back in 2007? I made 184 for fellow CGN'ers. Zero failure rate as far as I know.
Then I made a further 347 M14S-CQB stocks from my own molds using a proprietory custom machined adaptor. These stocks were hand made custom laminate of carbon fiber and fiberglass. I've sold the rights and molds of this stock to a composites manufacturer.
Lastly, starting in early 2012 until the last one was finished and out the door before I decided to retire recently, I made 20 + of the chinese plastic M305 CQB Modstocks. I use one myself
