LRB M25 Goodness

Excellent:(

I just bruised the tip of my d**k when it hit the keyboard tray.

An d now I'm using the s**tty keyboard cause the good one is covered in drool.

Nice. Very Nice.

We'll have to have a shhot off one day:D

Will probably be coming out that way to visit Rick at ATR and do some Alberta rodent reduction this summer. We should plan a day for a CGN BBQ or something. I'm sure guys don't mind doing a roadtrip for some shooting and BBQ

Very nice!

What's the difference between M14SA and M25 receiver?

I noticed that on both models they offer a receiver with the rear lug, what's the benefit having a rear lug?

rear lug can be bedded by a bolt through the bottom of the stock
m14sa is the standard design of LRB m14 semi auto receiver and the M25 has no scope mount detail on the left side and instead has a removeable rail from stripper clip bridge to front of receiver

yup one ###y piece of kit....... Olds is bein pretty brave leavin me with his new LRB m25 receiver and virgin krieger DMR barrel ....... we were both droolin pretty heavy today .... I'm looking forward to doing this build big time
then we are gonna take both our krieger barreled boom sticks and stir it up on the service rifle course

I also have been drooling over the M25 for the past year or so, this thread has me re-interested in getting one.

Can't wait to see the finished rifle

Up late cause I was still on the night shift schedule. Oldsmobiler, that one will never be up for sale. Looking at you parts list, you will have a very nice rig once it's all said and done. I'm just a few parts away from having all the goodies so when I build, my private parts won't fall off! I'll probably start with a SS10X scope though. 45ACPKING, I'll pm ya soon! Good stuff on your shop and all. Couldn'y make this Sunday due to work and signing up my son for hockey. Priorities my friend!

Olds,
Is there a source in Canada for the Kreiger barrel?

I usually pick up my M14 parts as they come up on the EE, but it would nice to know where to get the big stuff like triggers, barrels, etc..

Obtunded, here on the forum is the krieger dealer we dealt with.

in the beginning of my quest for parts i was also buying up parts on the ee and from private sources..... then i found it much more econimical to buy complete 12(3) prohibs and dismantle them for parts. I liked this route as then you get a set of parts that were mated together.... except they are going on a different reciever.
take my most recent 12(3) purchase........ costing me about 1000.00 for everything but the receiver,. Now break that down using U.S. market prices for usgi parts..... I'm saving a bundle.

there are many fellas out there with these 12(3) m14 rifles.... it's just a matter of seeking them out and having the means to buy and dismantle said rifles. I generally will list my left over parts for fair market value in the EE from time to time.

anyone wanting a build or custom work done from thier supplied parts should watch the dealer section as i will be appearing there shortly ;)

I picked up a Winchester heavy barrel, Dlask Brake, UISGI Op Rod and a TRW bolt a while back on the EE, still have not had them put on the Norico. Is that the type of work you (45ACKING) do?

How does the Krieger compare to the Winchester or the rest?

a Krieger stainless steel cryo treated barrel is the be all end all when it comes to an m14 barrel.... the crown jewel

building, national match tuning, customizing, rebarreling, unitizing..... m14 rifles, with parts and accessories supplied by the customer(in most cases) , norinco's or otherwise, as long as it of a non restricted configuration, is exactly what i will be offering. I will also have a few other things going on. All will be revealed once i have the green light from cgn to start offically advertising.
