LWRC SABR rifle pics

The problem of making stuff for the Candian market is great, especially wheras you have to submit the rifle for examination, and won't even know if it's going to make it, and the rulings sometimes seem....a bit....arbitrary or bizarre.
That's why you work with the RCMP during the design stage. It's far easier to get the go ahead if you make a design, submit it to the RCMP asking how to keep it non-restricted. They will come back with their requirements on the design to be non-restricted and that way you get your rifle built and they feel like they still have the big swinging #### telling you what to do.

That would be the voice of experience you hear.

Damit man... twooooooo weeeeeks is tooooooo looooong.

The good news is that in two weeks they'll only be 2 WEEKS away, until two weeks after that, when you'll only be waiting about 2 weeks. ;)
As far as new guns go, patience is a virtue. This isn't a knock on the industry, it just seems that all firarms designs are approved by a guy called Murphy.
A final thought, could I get one with "For Civillian Sporting Use Only" stamped on the receiver

If this comes to us in non-restricted form, I'm purchasing one for sure. Good luck with everything, and keep us updated on your progress.

I want on the list as well. A 12.5" 6.5 & .308 for me please! Oh hell, I want the counter sniper with a match barrel as well. Whatever I can get first I suppose. How do i get myself into these things?
