What did you have to do to fit that grip?

Your build looks great so far.

I had to dremel and file the beaver tail. I did mostly to see how it would fit/feel. I have a spare beavertail less grip I can use as well

Other things I had to "modify" were the hammer pin because I have in there a Geissele G2S, it comes with a spring retainer for the hammer pin, which does not fit in the the lower. So I used a anti rotation pin I had laying around. And also the safety spring/detend to make the length of the 180. I have some kinks to workout, the safety is functional but I think there is too much preassure in the detend, making it kinda difficult to put back into safe.

We didn't test the G2S, only the SSA. The SSA fits, but like all Geissele triggers they are somewhat difficult to install.

For the safety detent, I use a small piece of #10 copper to put between the spring and the detent to get just the right amount of retention. It worked perfectly, and was easy enough to guess and check, and made mods for the perfect length.

Here’s mine. All I would want to track down is a lighter profile barrel, and I’m going to try and fit a Magpul K2 grip like Galvz. Pretty satisfied with it overall, the gen 2 lynx lower paired with a gen 2 WK upper is the sauce.

Hows the fit between the upper and lower? I've been considering doing the same thing as well.

The fit is good, didn’t need to file any material like you would for a gen 1 wk lower. There is about the same amount of play between the upper and lower that you’d get with an AR15.

Another forum vendor is selling the non-reciprocating charging handle and BCG from the WK Gen 2. I know SBI has said they thought the non-reciprocating handle was unnecessary, but some people like it. In order to have that handle with the sweet 1913 compliant rail in the Lynx, would it be difficult for SBI to make a WK Gen 2 handle compatible steel side panel for the Lynx upper?

Taking ColinD's tip and the troubleshooting guide in SBI website, I took a spare safety detent and sanded it down. Now the safety has a nice satisfying click.
