M-14b

I've got 5 lbs of IMR 4895, 1000 bullets, 700 primed cases and a real need to start using the stuff before it goes bad!!

Waiting patiently for the ship to land.

The good thing about the rifles not showing up is that my wife felt guilty about it not being here for Father's Day, so she bought me a Remington VTR (223) to make up for it!

Sounds like a keeper.

Could not wait for ship to arrive, going hunting in 4weeks, got one off the EE for $420bucks shipped, no tax! Its was a unfired 2007, you can't call it unfired now! Carbon fiber scope mount ruffed out today, should have it dialed in next weekend. If they come in before halloween I will buy my dad one for his bday!

Had one before and sold it and now I'm kicking myself, so I've ordered another one.

Interesting though, they asked for my date of birth and city of birth. I haven't ordered a gun through a mail-order place before. Is this normal?

Date of Birth, I can't remember if I get asked this from other online business. It is a possibility. No biggie really.

Place of birth. They must ask you this whenever you buy a rifle/handgun anywhere because this is the information cfc uses to verify it is actually you buying the rifle/hangun in question. This information is only asked for by dealers. Private sales do not require this, but do require your pal# to be exchanged.

No worries in dealing with any of the dealers on this board.

Every dealer in the sponsors above have asked me both place and date of birth with any firearm order I've made.

While Im sure its related to the CFC, I like to think that Jim (from Marstar) is asking so he can send me a birthday card.

Confirmation Code by Model Only?

I just hope John is buying a load of 'em: I don't know if confirmation codes are for all orders or just a model, but my confirmation code is in the mid 600's!

I already have ammo, parts, etc. and I have been researching these forums and others for all M14 type clinics, accurizing tips, shooting pointers and such too.

Hmm I ordered mine back in August and didn't get a comfirmatuin code? Just got an email saying in the headline that the order had been recieved. Looking forward to getting my m14/305. Just like the rest on here I am reading through as much as I can on what to do to make them better and what to do for shooting. Have a good one.

Dave

How many do yo have coming in? Just curious if I should place a order, or buy elsewhere because there won't be enough to go around?

All depends on when they were coming in? Can you give a clear delivery date? I was thinking about getting my Brother one for Christmas. Will they be in by then for 100% for sure? Ha ha, just kidding. I know its a touchy subject. I am just kidding. I used to be involved in customer service at a machine shop that I work at, so I know what its like to have a late product and everyone down your throat. I know its hard to keep your cool sometimes and not get P.Off when your dealing with late delivery's.

Im just busting your chops. I was still seriously thinking about getting another one from you, even though I have had to buy elsewere because I needed one for hunting season. You do have the best deal by far compared to anyone selling them brand new, so Im sure everyone will be glad they waited.
