M+M "features" wtf?

If this "lightweight gasblock" is aluminum instead of steel, these guns will be useless... won't stand up to the heat/pressure.

My guess would be its just a normal gas block, but they had to say something to make it seem special (and thus worth the ridiculous price)

Before the Canadian MSRP. U guys were all acting like drama queens, now it's released ur acting like cry baby's.

If u don't like the price, then don't buy it. Shut up, kick back and let it run its natural coarse. Let supply vs demand sort out the price gouging situation. All these M10x threads are so embarrassing.

Thanks. That clearly explains why they need a special mag release for the magazines it was designed around.

Other than the fact this is a discussion forum.
Where we discuss things.
PS spell check is your friend.

Wanstalls just threw in the towel. Mm would not even fill the pre-orders.

Awwww and those 2 guys that were soooo vocal about any "M&M Criticism" saying we don't know the whole story blah blah we GOT OUR PRE-ORDER lol...
bflies gonna be sad :(
We told you M&M was a piece of ####.

But you said similar sh*t about TI, remember?

When did I say TI was a piece of ####?
I said the full payment up front funding for these rifles was a bad idea for any buyer. If a shop can't afford to buy product with its own capital then there is an issue there. I still 100% take that stance. Gunshops should not be operating like a "Go Fund Me Campaign".
I also said there was no way China would make a measly 1000 rifle order, they would tack it on to a larger order or they would never get built. Which is exactly what happened no?
I also said the markup is atrocious, and it is. Considering TI used YOUR money to fund this entire order, which took 2 years and made it literally zero risk to themselves, you think maybe they would be a little more appreciative and not take such a huge bite out of the consumer. But I guess that blame should be 50/50 with them and the "Here! Take my money!" price whores lol.
I also said TI #### the bed previously on the ERE pre-order, which they did, but you folks seem to have short memories.
I don't support the way TI does business, I have no problem saying that. That is much different then a bait and switch, or broken promises, straight up lies, or price gouging because some fools said they would pay more for a rifle that isn't even here yet....
That my friend, is a POS.

I have they include a coupon for a hand job. That's why some said they'd pay three grand. :)

Yeah, where are all the price whores now they are a confirmed $2k+HST/shipping?
Wonder if the $1450 pre-order bunch will still be so eager to buy them at the NR rax rate?
Sucks all around.

At least TI didn't increase the price in the t81 by 35% just because they thought the market could bear it...

The rest of what you say i generally agree with though, 100% deposit pre orders that take two years (or never happen at all) is questionable business practice...

There is probably a 40% or more markup on the t81, but it will still be the cheapest rifle of the general pattern in Canada. And it's not being sold here for more than some foreign market to subsidize foreign buyers.

There are no DMR gas tubes or match grade safeties or socom packaging promises from ti, a good sign.

There is also no bs about yanking the price point all over the map and north Sylva has nothing to do with the t81, which is a massive selling point. ABNS.
