I agree, this gun needs some good PR, 4 and a half months as a range gun and only $400 worth of Surplus Ammo through it suggests it's not a very popular gun?1500 rounds is a course/decent weekend type roundcount, eager to see some actual use on it.
You seem to be a little confused about what is going on. M+M has recognized that their service was sub standard in Canada, and has asked us to help resolve the problems that people have been having with their products (many of which were ammo related).Imagine spending almost $2k on a rifle and having to send it in for work just to perform basic functions. I want AKs, I love innovation and new ideas, but M+M can touch themselves with a cheese grater for all I care. Disgusting that folks give their hard earned money over can't even get a rifle that performs a basic function.
YES ! Thank you. I didnt realize the stock is fixed. I still love the look of this variant! All of our guns have Gen 3 internals, the furniture, handguards and barrels may not be depending on options/model.
If this is the gun you are referring to: https://store.theshootingcentre.com...-handguard-rifle-black-7-62x39mm-18-6-barrel/ the stock is fixed.
Of course, you can build your own custom gun, contact gunsmith@theshootingcentre.com to discuss options. Is there any way of putting the fixed lage stock on one of the new PLUS rifles?

yes me too ! i just won t sell that rifle to one of me fellow gun runner , grateful to stepped up to resolve these problems . email send to gunsmithI am grateful someone has finally stepped up to resolve these problems. I have been back and forth numerous times with the importer (NS) and that has gone nowhere. Yes, it is frustrating spending this kind of money to be left twisting in the wind and told the same BS excuse time and time again.
So far, Calgary Shooting Centre is indeed doing what needs to be done.

So, if you have a gun that is not working acceptably, contact gunsmith@theshootingcentre.com. We have the parts, and training to get your guns working.
Well first of all we didn’t say all problems were ammo related. Secondly there is no problem with steel cased ammo in general. However most of the Chinese surplus ammo in Canada is very inconsistent. It is also not available in the US. Thus the manufacturer was unable to design around specific ammo commonly use in Canada.I think that saying the problems people were having with the guns "ammo related" is a little suspect.
If it won't run steelcase properly that should have been disclosed right from the start because that's a deal breaker for most.
What is the approved ammunition currently according the the manufacturer?
