M&P15 Sport II

Now heres to hoping Canada Post doesn't just leave it on my front step like they usually do for most of my packages. Even when I'm home.

It is same rack grade AR as Norinco.
Even does't have proper staking on castle nut.
BTW, does it has cold hammer forged chrome lined barrel?

Mine was stacked perfectly, and the finish/quality is a mile ahead of a Norinco. Handle them side by side. And the Norinco cost more atm.

i ordered one but because the price was so good ... im one of those that believe that will see that price for a long time ... there is some cheaper ar15s on the us market and this model is one of those ... they can be find for 599usd and it has been for a while now ... this price was a good excuse for sure but there will be more to come ... quote me if im wrong in a year ...

I have to respectfully disagree with you there faizi. This rifle is far beyond a Norinco. The barrel is not chrome lined. However the usefulness of a chrome lined barrel depends on the use of the rifle. If you shoot 1,000's of rounds a year, shoot corrosive ammo, or shoot at full auto speed all the time, your going to want a chrome lined barrel. If you are a shooter like me who will shoot around 500 rounds or less a year and will not be shooting fast most of the time, a chrome lined barrel is not a necessity. The barrels are Melonite (Smith calls it Armornite or something) inside and out.

Jerry Miculek wouldn't use a Norinco.
He uses a M&P15 and I believe he set some record this year with his M&P rifle. It's on youtube if you care to browse it.
Definitely higher quality than a Norc.
I wish I needed another AR as these are a smoking deal right now!

So, you agree that cold hammer forged chrome lined barrel is superior? Right. And we don't need to pay extra money for such chrome lined barrel in the case of Norinco AR 15.

Its better than a norinco... No doubt. I have a feeling this is the new price, but of course who knows.
It might be better than Norinco in fit and finish only. But doesn't has some extra goodies like ambi selector and maganine release levers.

Lots of these rifles around right now with quite a few coming onto the EE already . They are selling the MP 15 Sport pretty cheap in the U.S. right now ; so hard to know if they are just blowing out extra stock ; or if this will be the new price going forward .

Cold hammer forged - yes. Chrome lined - like I said it depends on what your using it for. Sheer durability if your shooting an extremely large amount of ammunition at a high rate of fire? Yep that's what you want. If you don't shoot like that? It will offer you no benefit and can in fact decrease accuracy. Chrome lined is not the be all end all of a firearm by any sense of the imagination. If it was why would anyone buy anything other than a Norinco? It sounds like your convinced this rifle is trash. And that's fine. You don't have to buy one.

This is a excellent rifle for what it is meant to be. A budget priced AR that still offers good quality for someone just getting into this platform or someone who doesn't want to spend a pile of money on one. You obviously prefer higher end rifles. That's great, I wish I could afford a $2100 Colt Canada AR. But I cant, and neither can a lot of people. Simply because someone does not have a certain rifle in their safe does not mean it's equal to a Chinese rifle that is ill fitting and covered tooling marks. This rifle is way above the quality of a Norinco. Calling them the same may make you feel better, but it is of no help to anyone that is researching a budget AR. Check out some reviews of this rifle online.
