Hey fellas.
Well, I just found out that in 3 months time I'll have the chance to take my shooting test for CIT. (Cash In Transit)
Naturally, I asked what caliber and firearm I'll be expected to use for the test, and I was told that they can't divludge that information until test time, but they recommended the Smith & Wesson M&P40 as a firearm to practise with.
So I'm thinking I'll a NEW M&P40. Problem? My go-to site sponsors don't have any of them in stock.
Save- though, SFRC has the S&W M&P40 PRO in stock. How does the PRO differ from the factory stock configuration? I'd assume its a factory sporterized/accurrized version, correct?
If worse came to worse, and I can't get my hands on a genuine M&P40- are there any other firearms that are close to the S&W version, in regards to ergos, weight & size? Something from CZ? And please god, no Norincos. My 780 is a safe queen as it is- I don't need another one. I'm looking for something around the same price point as the S&W M&P40, as I only have about $1000 to work with, which'll have to include the price of shipping, taxes & ammo.
