Yes, non-polarizing, take the high road, posts such as this are very helpful.
At least as helpful as the hateful ones. Point, counter-point....

Do a little research, and you will find that it is not uncommon for even established companies to abandon a product line for various reasons. Check out Robinson Armament and the saga of their first offering, the M96 Expeditionary Rifle. Robarm left the buyers of that particular rifle with zero product support, including spare parts. Who's to say that Maccabee Defence or Kodiak Arms won't go under in two years time and leave all of their customers high and dry? Such is the inherent risk of buying a new design from a small company. Don't like the odds? Then stick to the big names and their same old product.

If I were to start a thread where only the optimists and those excited for the rifle can discuss it and share photos and videos, would those who hate M+M and still bring up the MSRP fiasco and the shenanigans promise to avoid it and stay here?
Theres nothing more to add to that discussion, and there really are some interested in seeing info on what we pre-ordered for.
Yes but hoping that the t81 guys receive bent or otherwise messed up firearms is like wishing someone goes out of business. Poor form in both instances. imo.
I don't know what you think this rifle is... it's a 65 year old design matched up with a 55 year old design and that's modern?
State of the art tooling? It's stampings? ANYONE can do that... and the component machine work is no better then Chinese from the pictures I've seen posted.
That's some potent koolaid you been drinking.

Don't mind Hitzy - he can't seem to help his obnoxious nature. That is why I put him on my ignore list. Unfortunately, you played right into his hands by quoting him for all to see....
I have never once thought of placing anyone on an ignore list. Despite how annoying I may deem anyone at any given time or moment It's dissension of opinion that provides us the catalyst for growth and I value that immensely. If it were not for this attitude I never would have figured out that I'm the dickhead often.
Your still pretty new just wait your ignore list will grow

No I doubt that will occur. I've been involved with many hobbies and some very high end'ish for 30 plus years now and for the most part I respect and encourage the views of others whether or not they agree with mine. Ignore lists imo and the blatant advertising of such a list is a ploy commonly used by the neophyte childish closed minded chest thumping braggarts and the serial humble braggarts.
Same, Even the guys that annoy me in one thread will have something of value to say in another. I love to debate/argue, it's a great way to learn new things or in some cases teach.
Anyone who blocks people may be a closet lieberal, if you can't handle having someone tell you something you don't agree with and it upsets you enough to block someone you are behaving like a child. Different opinions and viewpoints are how the world used to function and grow, these days I just see the world spiraling down the toilet with everyone being offended by everything others do and say.
Each to their own WRT use of the ignore button. I personally find it a useful tool for filtering out the sorts of posts that offer nothing of substance to me. It is not about silencing dissent or censoring opinion. It is about ignoring those whose first resort is to offer rude personal offense. It is about not having to read the same childish insults and uneducated opinions time and again, ad-nauseum. At the end of the day, choosing not to view certain people's posts is about tailoring the CGN experience for my maximum enjoyment and edification. Selfish? Perhaps but I value my time and don't need or want to associate with arse-hats online any more than I would tolerate their presence in person. I like a spirited discussion as much as the next guy/gal, but I draw the line at repetitive, offensive (to me, at least), and boorish behaviour. Hence, the personal "ban hammer"! Used sparingly, it only enhances the CGN experience.....

Inclined to agree. Maybe it's just the picture quality/angles bit that looks really rough.
I could never get over the "DMR" bull #### but I hope no one who does buy one of these gets screwed over with ####ty hardware or lack-luster warranty work.
