no- the handle of the bayonet is too long, and hits the gas plug when mounted- RUMOR has it that CAN-AM also has short bayonets to match- as fas as wobbly goes, yes, and it's a good thing- think of when you actually go "fix bayonets"- you want SPEED, ie draw from shelter, mount and click home- think of the mount as a groove - a little sloopy is a good thing as you want that groove to be as wide as possible for speed so you don't have to be perfect every time-if you want tight, you can add meat to either the ring or the sides of the mounting lug to tighten it up- there's also probably a shot about the difference between chinese( metric) and usgi bayonet mounts, but there's considerable slop in my usgi ones as well
