It's easy, look at registration dates of the dealer account, who paid every dime of the dealer fees, and who's posts, trader rating and reputation identify me as M14Doctor. If there was an issue with this, the time to say something was way back in 2009.
There is no issue here ... except possibly for the fact that I encouraged you to take the name on CGN ... why do you suppose that was Thomas? It was because this was to be a common enterprise at some point. We were both to raise cash to start up a corporate entity, my part was the bolt tool, yours was the smithing. But you needed all the cash you could get, and that was fine. Time passed and you were no closer to being able to contribute financially to this enterprise and furthermore began making financial demands upon me. I was only too grateful to shelve the possibility of a common enterprise at that time ... but we did agree to cooperate, you with smithing, me with product.
Anyhow, sell your remaining inventory and leave me out of it.
I will sell my inventory as I outlined earlier. I have nothing to do with the entity known as M14Doctor on CGN ....
Suggesting a good name over a cup of coffee is not ownership. It's what's been done under that name, by myself alone that allows me to make the claim that I do. I didn't just lay in wait registering a domain name and letting someone else financial support the dealer site, in hopes of taking it over one day.
So much material here ...
1. so you admit its not your name
2. you admit I registered the name
3. I had no interest in taking over the site until you told me you were discouraged with the atmosphere on CGN and that you were going to quit. I think there were 3 of those moments. I encouraged you to stay with it until it became apparent to me that you were going to quit, then I told you I had an interest in keeping the name alive to protect I had worked for. You decided to stay ...
And just so we're clear, there was no formal written business between us, no contract, no financial obligations to each other. So me asking you to give up the domain and all me to carry on on my own without our "association" is something you refused to do.
Sure, the first sentence is at least close to being true.
The part about the domain is ridiculous ... why should I give up the name I came up with and registered?
In fact right after I informed you I would be going it alone, you renewed the M14doctor.com domain. That says it all to me ans was a hostile move on your part.
Well, Thomas, for your information the domain renews automatically, but nice try ... besides, its my name, why wouldn't I renew it?
It is now my duty to inform customers seeking the services of M14Doctor, to know that YOU are not ME.
I think this is prudent, responsible and is not meant to aggravate.
Ask the membership of CGN, whi is M14doctor???
I think it's as simple as that don't you.
Hey, inform away, clarity is great so is full and complete disclosure.
Remember this?
"M14doctor.com is NOT me. M14Doctor.com is my associate who holds all rights to the M14 parts he has brought to market through our collaboration."
The bolt tool is great, it's just not made by me. Stop taking my wanting to carry the name I've built on my own as a persoanl slag against you.
Move on, do what you do, you don't need me or my reputation to market products you make.
It's that simple.
I made my views clear on this earlier.
And I agree with you I don't need either you or your reputation ... but I do intend to keep what is mine.
