What Caramel is referring to is the Black Arrow oprod SPRING guide. The blackfeather does indeed have it's own oprod guide which won't work with any other stock. My oprod guide was loose when I got it, removed the roll pin, peened the oprod guide boss all around with a centre punch, red loctite, reinstalled the oprod guide with a hammer, made sure it was alligned properly (see tilt test) and replaced the roll pin. It's now nice and tight, and cost me nothing.
P.S. The advice given about replacing the oprod spring guide is sound. Tightened my groups up nicely. The key to tuning this rifle is to ensure that the rifle behaves the same way every time the trigger is pulled, springs coming to rest in the same position, bolt with the same resistance placed on it, etc. The oprod spring guide upgrade (blackarrow, Springfield NM or otherwise) takes the slop out of the spring. I have heard that the Springfield NM oprod spring guide doesn't work with Norc springs.
