Hi all,
I was wondering if anyone knows if there is any way to get muzzlebrakes for the m14 up here? I'd love to get my hands on the smiths enterprises one bu i doubt that's going to be happening anytime soon with the border sealed up...
On the other hand, has anyone made their own brake? I'm a machinist myself and have the means to make them but I'm not realy sure as to what design and materials to use to get the job done right. If I do make one, it's going to be for the metric thread so that I dont have to chop my barrell and it will have a dovetail for the front sight. If anyone has the knowledge on how to design one of these guys let me know. The biggest concern is what kind of steel to use, I'm sure almost anything will do though as long as it can be hardened a bit...
If anyone has Ideas, let me know and I can get to work.
Cheers
