I concord, on my 3 Socoms from Canam, all were upgraded with the Black Arrow oprod spring guide ( only thing done to those rifles) and the 3 rifles are solids sub 1.5 - 2 MOA with reloads... JP.
 
Good morning mister, congratulations on the great job you did on your rifle. Looks really good and improved as you say. What kind of mount is that used on your M305. Really low, I really liked it.

He means"I concur ",
but IMO you shouldn't expect more than a smoother action from an op-rod spring guide swap. It doesn't improve accuracy.
Given that, both of mine have Madwedge op-rod spring guides ;-)
 
Waiting for my NEA buttstock adapter to get here next week and then I can start to do one of mine ( DA Socom 18 ) ...thanks for posting this .
Could you add another pic of the finished product straight from the side as I would like to see how close it fits to the receiver and trigger guard ....Thanks

Been looking at "theammosource" site for a couple of days now and they don't seem to have the same shotty adaptor anymore. The one on there site looks way different from the one you have.

I chopped my DA Socom today and it went well .


I cut mine a tiny bit more to the rear than yours .


Pic of the test fit , before cleaning up the cut a bit and painting the buffer tube to hide the scratches


I had a spare buttstock , ARMS 18 mount and Bushnell TRS-25 so I put it on for now.
I have a Magpul CTR stock in FDE coming so I will probably paint the stock to match later.
I like the way it turned out ...thanks again:)
