M14s in 7.62x39 coming to Canada?

That's not the usual M14 contour. It looks like they changed the feed ramp design to mate with the AK mags (?).

It will also be interesting to see if they did anything to the gas system to better deal with corrosive ammo. It would be a simple matter for Norinco to chrome line the gas cylinder.

No to the chrome lining, it's the same gas system as on the regular m305

Just don't set it to pots and pans setting, should get the grease off nicely

edit: wouldn't these rifles weigh more than the m305 that are kinda chambered in 308?

seems there are others selling them for 725.00 with 2 5/30 ak mags and the usual stuff shipped in a hard case..... what's N .S. price? 850? they aren't the actual importer are they? or did they buy them from the other guy and ship them themselves? seems wierd thier is a 125.00 difference in price depending which "importer" you are dealing with.

Can you buy direct from NS? Seeing that NS is a wholesaler is their listed price a suggested retail?

The average car was about 3 grand, houses were maybe 20 grand, and a mortgage was paid off in 10-15 years, not 25-35 back in them days (early 70's)

My point is that people always think about the lower price back then but forgot that salaries were also lower. The minimum wage in the 70s was $1.50 and dit not have the same benefits we have today.

Anyway, I'm off topic so I'll leave it at that.
