M14s in 7.62x39 coming to Canada?

no interest at all 303 will not fit the action of a 14. plus it is a rimmed shell. plus its retardedly expensive to shoot .get a bren if you want a semi 303.

If you could point me to where to get a legal semi auto BREN that'd be great.

Had a quick look at one today.
Looks like a chamber sleeve is installed. Bolt hold open has been changed to a fixed ejector, so no way I could see to keep the bolt open via the original M14 way.
Flash hider is not welded, holes were open. Comes with 2 AK pinned mags, sling and manual.

Got mine yesterday, it is typical norinco quality, a few sharp edges here and there. Came completely covered in the slick oil they used. I had to shim my gas system 10 thousands of an inch and yes the flash hider is removable. Oh the hand guard is painted black as well...
I also ordered an m14.ca mainspring guide as think it will fit.
It's snowing here today so no range report yet
Am I happy? Yes I love the m14 platform but will hold my final decision to how she performs on the range.

it is the first one in Canada from last year, a production sample. order was never placed by that vendor. North Sylva ordered theirs and it appears spec'd differently.

Fit one of these with a Choate side folding stock and you'll have a rather interesting carbine.

As for the oddball caliber suggestions of .303 British, well, that has as much chance of happening as a FAMAE SG 542 in 8mm mauser...

The one I looked at you could clearly see the line gap in the step. That pic looks like they did a better chrome job.
I guess time will tell when we see more clearer pics.
