M17S - A bullpup reborn!

Count me in, this one looks pretty neat. Although mag release and bolt catch being in AR configuration is probably not the best idea for bullpup.

Ya ... just watched some video of this thing being fired , Im not sure if I get how the mag release is a good thing on this design. It may have to be addressed

Very cool. Not sure about the ergonomics of the mag release, bolt release, and safety, but if it ends up at around 2 grand, I'd probably be in for one :)

Just because every other NR gun is 2k plus doesn't mean they all have to be! Lets quit aiming so high ;) How about 1000$?! Wouldn't it be nice for NR guns to be priced similar to restricted?

I have a T97. Love it. But $1000 is an unfair price for plastic while $1800 is a reasonable price for aluminum. I'm in ...

Thanks for the heads up fenceline, thats a cool rifle. I kinda like the lines on the original, thinner than most of the alternitives. I'd would be nice to see these floating around up here.

Charles St. George is working with MPA now, word is that a newer M17S will be their next project
I wonder if K&M would be working with them together?

K&M is working with master piece arms to produce a 22 magnum version of the M17s. It is on the website "stgeorgearms dot com". The top picture is taken from The Firearms Blog which failed to mention K&M's involvement at all. The bottom pic is from K&M's sight.

Purchased off GB as a standard Bushmaster M17s, then had it shipped to K&M to install the following...

- 4-1 kit with front charging handle (rail and upper port cutting package)
- Upgraded 4-1 kit to include no drill top rail
- Brass deflector
- Trigger assembly black
- Cheek rest

The stock M17s trigger pull= 9lb 10.5oz on average. The trigger assembly upgrade ads the skeletonized trigger, and drops the pull down to 6lbs.

After the upper was milled out, it was coated with Brownells ALUMA-HYDE II in "Earth Brown"

Had a custom spanner wrench added to the deal to make removing the thread covers easier. Have since added an A2 flash hider.

This is not the same gun pictured in the op. Can't wait to shoot it.
