Hi Tony,
I am amazed that this mount works so well, glad I sprung for the steel one, I have had it on my Norinco and the M1A and it only takes about 10 minutes to change from one rifle to another. The best thing is that the mount is very adjustable for different recievers. The M1A required about 3/16 of an inch clearance on the front of the reciever to set the scope for 100 yards, the Norinco needed about 1/8 inch clearance on the front of the reciever to allow proper scope alignment. Windage on the M1A has the scope close to bottomed out to the left I think but on the Norinco was close to center??
If I want to shoot long range all I need to do is loosen off the rear screw' tighten the front one and I have as much elevation as I want for the longer ranges, I think Frank hit a home run with this mount!
