M249 para ruger 10/22 stock conversion

Yes but you must ask the same question, where do the 22 Tommy mags like in the pictures come from? :D

There will be stick mags for the Thompson as soon as we can make them and they will be offered as a separate accessory. The reason the Thompson doesn't work with the Promag kits is that most people who bought the drum mag ended up returning it as it didn't work properly.:( As a result we decided not to alter the Thompson kit to accept the Promags until such time (if ever) that they get their magazine working properly. We will be putting out a 1927 upgrade kit that will turn the M1A1 into the 1927 Chicago version that will include a replacement rear sight cover, the vertical walnut fore grip and the altered trigger covers that accept the Promag drum.

As for the stick mags, we expect they will be ready in September.

Here is a pic of the prototype we are working on.

This one just got anodized this morning.

Hope that answers your questions on the magazines for the Thompson. Don't worry guys. I wouldn't forget the mags.;) It wouldn't look like a Thompson without the correct magazines now, would it?We've just been so busy getting the first production run, which is always filled with wonderful potholes, completed and out the door.

John, is that just a 10 round mag stuck on top of the fake mag or will there be a 30+ round version developed?

Made mag is not so easy and expensive, first steel lips are expensive to made, made the mag in aluminum is too expensive, for made in plastic need big investment and no big market here for that, and you can see problem with all mag allready on the market, only few work perfectly.

For now I stop selling drum mag, don't work perfectly and lips are not in steel, they are too soft.

I WISH it was a 30 round version but (long sigh) no it just our good old dependable Ruger 10 round rotary mag on top of the aluminum faux mag. And as Fabrice said, making a magazine from scratch is a huge and expensive undertaking so I'm gonna stick to our fake 10 rounder stick mag for now.
