Well to sum up, I picked up my M38 at the Post Office today, Sunday 22 Dec 13. As I had a delivery notice left in my mail box yesterday Saturday 21 Dec 13 at approx 1130 hrs. Hmmmm, which is a little funny as, I was making myself some lunch around that time. I never heard the door bell ring, or a knock on my door.
So I'm now a proud owner of an M38 Mosin Nagant. Its a 1944 manufactured Ishevsk, with an M44 stock, excellent rifling and it is not counter bored.
Thank-you Trade EX.
Yep, same thing happened here. I wasn't home though. Filed a complaint...........be prepared to expect nothing. It seems that gov job= zero accountability. This has happened to me at least twice in the past and seems to be the way Canada Post delivery staff are working lately, about a month ago I was waiting for a package when the CP guy walks up to my front door and drops a already filled in failed delivery notice in my mail box, I promptly opened the door as he was briskly walking off back to his van and called him back. I asked were is my package and why he did not ring the door bell and bring it with him, he used the excuse that he thought I was at work and that nobody was home at this time, I said really! now go get my package and don't try that stunt again or I will be lodging a formal complaint.
