""Weather conditions might delay delivery of this shipment.""

nooooooo

They still have over 48 hours to meet their original delivery date, and its less than 200KM away from me. The ice here is not that bad... hopefully it makes it.

Well to sum up, I picked up my M38 at the Post Office today, Sunday 22 Dec 13. As I had a delivery notice left in my mail box yesterday Saturday 21 Dec 13 at approx 1130 hrs. Hmmmm, which is a little funny as, I was making myself some lunch around that time. I never heard the door bell ring, or a knock on my door.
So I'm now a proud owner of an M38 Mosin Nagant. Its a 1944 manufactured Ishevsk, with an M44 stock, excellent rifling and it is not counter bored.
I'm very happy.
Thank-you Trade EX.

This has happened to me at least twice in the past and seems to be the way Canada Post delivery staff are working lately, about a month ago I was waiting for a package when the CP guy walks up to my front door and drops a already filled in failed delivery notice in my mail box, I promptly opened the door as he was briskly walking off back to his van and called him back. I asked were is my package and why he did not ring the door bell and bring it with him, he used the excuse that he thought I was at work and that nobody was home at this time, I said really! now go get my package and don't try that stunt again or I will be lodging a formal complaint.

Yep, same thing happened here. I wasn't home though. Filed a complaint...........be prepared to expect nothing. It seems that gov job= zero accountability.

Same goes for private sector greed machines. IE: Sister in law sends frozen food items in package on Thursday via UPS Overnight Delivery from Ottawa to West coast. Now Sunday night and nothing...go figure.

Of course we let her know about it on Saturday so she could get her money back and of course, if the UPS dork shows up with the now soiled goods, the package won't be accepted. Try not to have have goods delivered during RETARD season (Xmas).
