Wild Rose Action Shooters 3 Gun matches in Edmonton... and of course, zombies...

Second the zombie motion!

I am buying one for the protection against zombies and the protection of my beloved chef boyardee and alphagetti. I have lived in Oshawa we don't mess around with our can goods.

Need

Damn, I'm conflicted on this. It is as good a deal as will ever be found on an AR, but I can't really see getting much use with it as a restricted. My pistols I can use to shoot IDPA, but there is not much for the AR around here. At least I could sell it if I don't like it, I guess.

Anyone got any really convincing arguments as to why I need one?

It is not a need, it is a want. I will go shooting with you. We could start a club.:p

The zombies are what makes me think I should have one. All those 5/30 mags could be useful with the rivet removed, when the zombies attack.

I wish there were 3 gun matches down here, I would love to take a look firsthand. Is there a website for the Edmonton ones?

Im mostly concerned with the price of add ons as I seem to always buy a bunch of s**t for my guns lol...

True enough. The first accessory would likely be a progressive reloading press to keep up to the ammo demands at a price I can maybe afford.

Shhh! Don't tell anyone that, they are all a NEED. That is my story and I'm sticking to it, anyway.:D

I have downloaded the pre-order form and can hear it calling to me...

Well I hope they have some left for you, I am #4x on the list. No hesitation at all...
It will go nicely with my Rem 1300 Defender as a Zombie killer...

Bring on the Zombies...

The site's gallery isn't all that regularly maintained but there are some pics here... http://www.wrasalberta.com/gallery.htm and the 2010 schedule and the rest of the club info is there as well... they're also affiliated with Steel Challenge and the first match is this Sunday here in Edmonton (Spruce Grove Gun Club)...

I'm super stoked about these rifles but I'm conflicted as I now need to find a range to practice with it at. If the local indoor range allowed rifles it would be ideal but alas they are pistol caliber only :(

honestly guys i owe ten thousand dollars on my credit card and im still getting one , dont be a ....... you know what

Your not alone...

The good thing about guns, I treat them as investments. My other guns need more company, and I need a good excuse to buy another safe. There is one for pistols, one for hunting rifles, one for milsurps and soon, one for black rifles.

The more the merrier...:p

Clearly, you've never met my wife... There seems to be no limit on her jewelry, shoes, and clothes (which take up all but one small closet left for me), but when I want to add another gun safe, well all hell breaks loose. :runaway:
