If a scope is going to fail, especially on a big recoiler..I'ts gonna fail within the first 30 rounds or less.
If you practice with a scope at close range, you wil find that it is FASTER in target aqqusition than irons, too.
A little trick to use at the bench is to pile the sandbags higher so you are sitting up straight behind the rifle instead of leaning into it.
