Hi ,
Does anyone if I can import M79 Grenade launcher?
origin Springfield armory
if yes that would be Restricted I guess while the barrel length is 14.5 inch and total length is over 26 inch
I believe it meets the requirements for non-restricted. Export from US will be the problem I think
and what do you plan on shooting with that?
I always thought M-79s were cool looking things.
Dlask has clones.
???? Since when?
Couldn’t find anything on their website.
Non - restricted , confirmed ,
sent an E-mail to RCMP and got an answer back in 15 min ,
Planning to buy one
some stuff it is worth it to have , even if you can't shoot ,
like #### , watching and touching is enough ,
M79 is a real #### , I think any gun owner loves to have one
37mm / 40mm are non-firearms. Projectiles fire at less than 300 fps. Same class as an airgun.
The dlask 37mm launcher like most all 37mm is a smoothbore "flare launcher".
Real 40mm are rifled.
40mm are basically unobtainable, excluding the few grey-market launchers floating around that have been smuggled. Manufacturers won't sell to civilians.
None of the M203's that came in in the '90's were smuggled - they came from Israel as "non-guns". I don't see why the M79 would be any different. You have to remember Canada wasn't always run by paranoid delusional schizophrenic hoplophobes.
