I believe it meets the requirements for non-restricted. Export from US will be the problem I think

A break action firearm that is not considered a handgun would be a Non-Restricted firearm, regardless of barrel or overall length.

37mm / 40mm are non-firearms. Projectiles fire at less than 300 fps. Same class as an airgun.

The dlask 37mm launcher like most all 37mm is a smoothbore "flare launcher".

Real 40mm are rifled.

40mm are basically unobtainable, excluding the few grey-market launchers floating around that have been smuggled. Manufacturers won't sell to civilians.

Non - restricted , confirmed ,

sent an E-mail to RCMP and got an answer back in 15 min ,

Planning to buy one

some stuff it is worth it to have , even if you can't shoot ,
like #### , watching and touching is enough ,

M79 is a real #### , I think any gun owner loves to have one

Not to bring you down, but the chances of the USA allowing a destructive device to be exported to a non government entity is slim to none. But I do wish you luck.

None of the M203's that came in in the '90's were smuggled - they came from Israel as "non-guns". I don't see why the M79 would be any different. You have to remember Canada wasn't always run by paranoid delusional schizophrenic hoplophobes.

Were these the ones involved when a buyer contacted the Manufacturer, and the MFR notified the State Dept. that the things had gone astray?
