32 cal PISTOL is prohib in canada

Rifle is not. This was already discussed at length. Misprint on the box. Feel free to do a search and debate there.

Good explanation here:

That's right but these are rifles in Canada . Doesn't matter what is written on the box .
Just like the Chiappa mares leg is a hand gun in the US & a rifle in Canada even though it says hand gun on the box

There has to be some green crates kicking around the Czech Republic with 7.65 on the side... And some parts kits for a reasonable price.

I was just wondering,... could this M84's magazine capacity be at all analogous to the situation with the AR's?
What I mean in that, we here in Canada are getting the "rifle" version of this nice little toy, and the mags are restricted to 5 rounds.
However, there is a "pistol" version of this same weapon being sold (although not in this country yet, to my knowledge), and shouldn't the UN-pinned or UN-blocked 10 or 20 round pistol mags for it be allowed to be sold and used here?,... not unlike the way that we can kegally use the LAR-15 and XCR 10 round pistol mags in our AR rifles here?
Hence the standard 10 round Skorpion mags could stay at a full 10 rounds, and the 20 round mags could be pinned at 10 rounds?
(i.e. a 10/10 rd mag or a 10/20 rd mag) ??

I thought it was worth asking, however, I'm not totally familiar with the magazine capacity regs that allow the LAR or XCR mags to be used here.
Maybe, if someone IS totally up to speed with these regs, could you chime in advise on why we need to have the mags for these "rifles" pinned to 5 rounds? Why isn't this the same as the AR scenario? Maybe, if I'm totally missing something here, I apologize in advance.

Inquiring Skorpion fans want to know. :)

For this to work the pistol would also have to be "commonly available" in Canada. Magazines for pistols that aren't commonly available are limited to 5 rounds, not 10.

It's because of the stock (ie. long arm) rather than being uncommon. Otherwise any uncommon pistols would be 5 round.

I was referring to the specific question by El_Monty457 as to if there were 'pistol' mags like AR pistol 'LAR' mags for these. According to the legislation for us to have 10 round pistol mags to use in these rifles, the pistol version of the firearm would have to be common in Canada. Since it is uncommon, the pistol version of the mag would still be limited to 5, so we are stuck with 5. Magazines for commonly available centerfire pistols are 10 round capacity, magazines for not commonly available pistols are limited to 5 rounds per PART 4 PROHIBITED DEVICES Former Cartridge Magazine Control Regulations

I think I need to dual wield these, "akimbo". Will check finances and maybe get two....

Commonly available does not mean the same thing as common. If there were any smg pistols in country, even one, it would be commonly available for any one with a licence to possess it. The lab has said so publicly.

have mine fully paid on pre order, was wondering if you can provide a bit of a timeline update on the scorpions Tactical imports. thank you for the great deal :)
