Maccabee Defense SLR information and updates

I was kind of hoping they would get the hardware out before that legislative change the feds are calling for in the spring. At least I'm only into it for 100 bucks if something nasty happens regulation wise. Probably going to hold off on stocking up on uppers and parts though.

Same here.. email with "estimate June 2018". My order number with TNA was 120, FWIW.

I thought i would get this before my KAC dimpled 18.6" barrel... now it's the reverse I guess! Oh well...

Just ordered this. My first MacDef build is going to be "Retro". I'm going for a NR A2 look.

Courtesy of Arms East. Stag Arms part# STAG700009K. $845. It's a complete rifle minus the lower receiver.

So I am going to have a complete NR A2 "style" build all in for $1845. Plus I will end up with a stripped AR-15 upper to sell for a few bucks. Damn the NR possibilities are looking good right now!

Better have that FRT for the SLR with you if you're in the woods with that config! :)

I hope that the various policing agencies will do a little PR session to advise their officer that the SLRs are out in the streets and are NR.

It's a nice, classic unmistakable (lol) look.

You gave me the idea to do this as well...
 
^^^^ If you want to order the kit you will have to call Arms East toll free number to order it as it was not on their website. They only sell the retro upper receiver on their website, it is NOT the full kit like this one I ordered.

Stag Arms has a sale on for a few more days. After that price goes up.
 
CSC just confirmed the March delivery date for their pre-orders is unchanged.

I just ordered an 18.6" 50 beowulf barrel from TNA with an April delivery date, however.

So I'll probably be waiting a bit anyways. Might throw on a 5.56 barrel in the mean-time.

Are you planning on keeping the front sight? That would be cool IMO.

I just assumed it would take too long for Wolverine to get their orders filled, as it seems that CSC will be getting thier shipment first. If it takes too long, might not be worthwhile for them.
 
Ya it just seems weird with another company starting a pre order after everyone ended theirs. But very possible they paid for a bunch themselves upfront.
Either way, I'll wait until people have the final/production version in hand before I dive into one so I know what to expect for my money
