Maccabee Defense SLR information and updates

Having to pay for a wedding next month and saving for the house down payment it's been tough to have extra gun money for me so although I'd like it now I don't mind a delay personally, while I slowly gather parts.

Wait, what??? Life has other things that are priority over making sure there's enough gun money??

I'm confused now....

All kidding aside, CONGRATS on getting hitched man!!

Who needs the real thing, I'm saving so much money pretending to have my SLR. Look, I even have a virtual Trijicon and cerakote. And those IRUNGUNS 10/30 GI pistol mags.

Please MacDef, have mercy on my parts!!!

What length of gas system are you going to be running? Because if it's mid part of your gas block will be exposed. If it's rifle some of your gas block and tube will be exposed. Just so you're tracking.

Good grief this is sucking real bad. Spent all my Maccabee build funds on a custom bighorn tl3 rifle and a vudoo v22. Really want a build like this for plinking and varmint smacking

intermediate so my entire gas block will be exposed, no biggie

This, Wyatt and Macabee seem to be a very small operation, from his instagram feed it looks like this is being produced out of his garage. Good for him but he is in over his head IMO. His operation definitely is small scale in comparrison to ATRS, which is a small company by many others standards.

A very capable CNC mill only takes up a 10x10 foot area. ATRS started with a single CNC mill only 10 years ago. Everyone starts somewhere. Many, many successful companies start out of garages. He could be running out of a tent for all I care as long as they make a quality product. I'd love to have the problem of demand outstripping supply.

NEA started out of a big shop.

NEA isn't a shining example. NEA/BCL is garbage.
