I fully agree with you, the new M3s are fantastic mags, but for him to say that they (ATRS's CAA mags) flat out CRAP, is complete and utter BS.

But gotta give it to some members here that have a real solid quality mag made that will meet and exceed the need of 98% of those who'll use them and STILL it's not good enough

How much bigger can it really get? Retailers in Canada are all small potatoes compared to the giants in the US. Compare our tiny 2 million licensed firearm owners to the 100 million plus firearm owners in the US. They win and Magpul and any other US manufacture can easily tell our tiny market to go get stuffed all they want. We're a drop in the bucket to them and they could afford to lose us as far as sales go.

As for the Alberta Tactical Mags, I bought four and I really like them. The quality is fantastic and they function pretty darn good. And I'm by no means a huge fan of Albert Tactical Rifle but heck credit is deserved where credit is due.

No offense taken, but I would have thought a prepaid order for 25000 mags might have got at least a "well let me think about it" response rather than the instant "we have enough on the go and are not looking for other projects" answer I we got on the spot.
I realize that ALL of the Canadian firearms manufacturers are small potatoes in the US/Global market, but I have to ask you how many others in Canada do you think were willing to place that sort of prepaid order, bearing in mind that ONLY a manufacturer who is manufacturing an AR15 variant pistol could do this?

Make NO mistake Magpul makes some really great stuff, but I think even corporately they may be drinking a bit of their own Kool Aid.

When we asked Nightforce how many of their Beast scopes I would have to order to get them in second FP, they at least had the courtesy to give us a number.

I've got 10 of them and they haven't been sticking, but a bit of lub as you said and they are good to go should the need arise.
