For kool-aid drinkers that happen to have an 870:

The MOE forend with the cruved ends looks usefull, can't say much about the stock though............

Looks like it was designed with something other then looks in mind. I'd have to try one before I pass judgement....

The butt stock looks like it has a recoil reduction system in place. I like the fore end.

Yes fore end would easily replace any of the more expensive ones (I am assuming it will be affordable considering the rest of the MOE offering) and be just as efficient if not more. That being said, I don't own a 870 at the moment

here is regarding the stock
The SGA Stock is a user-configurable buttstock designed to add much-needed adjustability to the tried and true Remington 870 platform. Featuring a spacer system for length of pull adjustment, improved grip ergonomics, recoil-reducing butt-pad, optional cheek risers for use with optics/raised sights, and other accessories, the SGA 870 brings Magpul design and engineering to another classic American firearm.

More details coming mid-January 2012.

The forend looks longer than the typical "police" no?

As for the stock; maybe I'm weird but I kinda like it.
I prefer not to have a pistol grip on shotguns and the size/angle of that grip looks about right to me. Almost like a field (straight) stock only with a bit more angle, wich sould feel close to perfect. so I'd try it at least.
I would likely have that stock on my 870 before an AR stock adaptor.

hmmm i dunno about that.... though i'm willing to try it out, wonder if anyone will let me do a test & evaluation on it...

but in terms of aesthetics... it's a little low on that scale, it be nice if they went more like the urbino stock... now THAT i'd like to get my hands on!

:agree:The forend looks okay, but the rear stock is kinda weird looking but who knows might be the next gotta have when they start hitting the stores.

I handled one at the SHOT show and thought that while it's ugly it feels pretty good!
