Yea once these are available I'll probably pick up a ruger and one of these. Its just too great a rifle to not have.

I'm still waiting for my grey from RDSC, ordered Feb 13, 2021. supposedly getting a shipment end of this month.... we will see

I don't know if want to put an order for a specific colour in now and be at the end of the pre order line or just wait and see what goes up on the sites and buy that?

I’ve been on the back order for an odg with rdsc since Nov 2020.

Lol, I hope I don't have to wait that long. I placed an order with RDSC a couple months ago for an ODG model myself. I called a week or two ago and was told they are expecting an order in late Feb., hopefully that is correct and there is an ODG stock in that order for each of us.

Lol, I hope you’re right. The only consolation prize I get is that I was able to get the stock for $159 + hst, it was raised to $209 a short while after the backorder page went live.

Factor in that you may have to buy a regular locking block, if you have a chassis or mlok aluminum forend, it will not work.

I bought the basic model so should be good, glad to hear your extended wait at least saved you some money on the new stock, I hope you get it soon, they do look like a nice improvement over the factory stock.

Picked up a FDE one from Firearms Outlet Canada and it arrived today. (They were great to deal with)

First impressions are that I love it. Feels solid, sheds a bit of weight off he gun, and the barrel secures to the stock nice and solid. Love that you can put an extra mag in the stock.

Figured I would post a few pics as I had a hard time finding one online with the longer Canadian barrel installed in the backpacker stock.

Yes it does, I haven’t tried it yet but I’m am quite happy with how the shorter one sits in its current configuration.

I can’t remember where I read it but I think is was approximately 12-14 oz lighter. It’s fairly noticeable.

I’ll try to get a weight on the gun tomorrow.

So if we were to store/transport taken down but mag in would that be considered a loaded firearm?
Be nice to have one in the stock, one in the magwell.
