Magpul CTR stocks

Question to Folks that own CTR:

I just picked up a tan CTR but I am not sure if its comspec or milspec.

It fits onto my mil spec LMT buffer tube but still wobbles slightly unless the friction lock is engaged. Locks up real nice when the Friction lock is on.

Also with the milspec version, is the end of the buttpad flush to the buffer tube when collapsed? I can see when I have the end plate removed that the end of my buttpad is not flush to the end of the tube.

Question, I just bought a stripped Armalite lower from Wolverine for 179, does anyone know what type of buffer tube I need? I new to the world of AR's and need a helping hand sometimes.
 
I'm confused about what I need to get from armseast? i already own the stripped AR lower, it's a Armalite lower purchased from Wolverine Supply.

I just wanted to know about what buffer tube to buy that will match my Armalite lower? Mil spec or commercial? This is very confusing.

Both will fit your lower, the threads are the same. At one point Armalites used to come with commercial tubes, now they come with mil spec. I'd say that it depends more on what stock you plan on using. FYI the ones from Arms East are mil spec.
 
Brownells has a new stock by Magpul called the MOE, it looks similar to the CTR but costs 20 bucks less.

I also ordered the CTR stock from Brownells and it says it's shipping.

Don't be surprised to get a message on Monday saying that the part cannot be shipped and them refunding you your money. Already been there done that.
