Magpul CTR stocks

Don't be surprised to get a message on Monday saying that the part cannot be shipped and them refunding you your money. Already been there done that.

Brownells shipped me mine, its sitting in customs in Vancouver right now, I tried ordering one model, they emailed saying they cancelled it because the manufacturer was not registered with the state department, so I asked them to substitute another and bam, it was shipped that afternoon.

Got a message from Brownells today about the CTR stock that I ordered on Friday, it shipped by Air today, I'll take a picture when it arrives this week. I ordered the commercial dark earth model if anyones interested.

the whole reason to using brownell's for this is that their price it keeps it under the $100 export exemption

I do not have a dealer account, the day after I ordered mine, the price went up 20 bucks, just business I suppose. Why else do prices go up? No different than Questar raising all their prices this weekend also.

The verdict is in, and it's good!!!! My CTR from Brownells arrived today, I also recieved my AR15 lower parts kit with the same order, my next order arrives in a few days by Air, I ordered a MIAD grip and some other stuff last week, it said it shipped today.

For anyone considering buying one, get the Commercial version, it fits BOTH the mil-spec and commercial buffer tubes, it includes the rubber butt pad for free, whereas the mil-spec CTR stock requires you to buy the rubber butt pad separately. And no it does not fit loosely on a mil-spec tube, the friction clamp makes it very secure.

And if you ever get a different AR, you can always switch the commercial stock CTR over regardless of the type of buffer tube, you can't do this with the mil-spec version.

Too late , already ordered the mil spec one for my LMT .

I would just be worried that eventually Brownells get in deep sh*t and stops selling outside the US...

But what I really want to know is where are all the UBR's coming from??? Those are WELL over the $100...
