Hey everyone! 1st of all: MERRY CHRISTMAS!!

Can someone answer or send me to a post where there is an explanation of the different generations on Pmags for the AR/Tavor/etc?

Also, any dealers offering deals over the holidays?

What exactly are you looking for? How to distinguish between the generations or just an explanation of what the actually differences are between the 3 generations of pmags?

Gen3 have are slimmer at the upper portion (the portion that goes into the magwell and have an over insertion tab. The overall magazine profile is also slimmer, making for a better fit in tight mag pouches. Gen3s have a dedicated marking spot.

They are also announced to be made out of tougher polymer.

I've had less fitment issues in various firearms using these magazine vs the gen2 magazines

Older gen Pmags only really worked for in spec AR lowers and were hit or miss on other firearms. They made the Emag as a response to match the specs of STANAG mags. Newest gen Pmags were made to work in a larger variety of firearms, so they're sort of a bridge between the Pmag and the Emag. At least that's my understanding.
