Magpul MOE on Norinco M4

I was planning but sold my unfired Norinco M-4, I think it will fit but would not swear on it. Buy a moe set on ebay for $20.00 it is made in china but same demensions if it works you will know it fits plus you will have a spare(the only diffrence is lack of stainless steel heat barrier)

Any links to the chinese one? All I am finding is the real deals.

moe stock and grip. rails are utg. the norc is from walt at armseast

I got mine through brownells, but I see that questar, and fabsports carries them as well. the stock tube is commercial size. not military size.

The entire MOE kit (stock, pistol grip, handguard and trigger guard) is $95.97 plus shipping from Brownell's if you have a login. Choose express international for the shipping option and you will have it to your door in less then a week...it'll cost a bit more though!

SON OF A WH#*E!!! The hand guards require some serious elbow grease and grinding to get on. I don't think I'll take them off until I need to install the rails.:ar15:

Had a spare MOE handguard kicking around so decided to put it on...wow, what a nightmare...had to grind down those little "tabs" on the lips and even then had to "finesse" it together. Needless to say the delta ring doesn't look pretty anymore (scuffs/bruises)!

That's why I opted for UTG quad rails on my Norc M4 after reading feedbacks on how PIA to install MOE hanguard on Norcs.

You know what else is a bit of a PITA? The Magpul ASAP...trying to hold everything together (springs/retention pins) and fit that keyed piece in to the buffer tube slot...the Blackhawk on my Bushy was way easier (albeit not ambi).

Got any pics of your Norc M4 with Magpul parts?

Looks just like IM_Lugger's but with the Magpul ASAP and MS2 sling (OD Green for the parts but black for ASAP/MS2). I don't post pics as I don't want to use hosting sites...sorry.

Got mine yesterday

Got my Norinco M4 yesterday and I already had the Magpul stuff at home for a week now. My Norinco was bought at SFRC for 756.00 del to me in Quebec. I bought all of my Magpul goodies from Blaxsun here on CGN. Magpul parts are CTR Stock, MOE Grip, MOE Handguard, BUIS rear sight and 2 P-Mags all in Dark Hearth color.

Have fun installing those Magpul goodies.

Everything whent well up to the point where I had only the handguard left to install... OMG it doesnt fit in there so I took the upper(rifle) with the handguard to my shop (I work in the lumber industry) and we had to cut the lip of the handguard in half(height wise) on both part. Then I was able to install the upper part of the handguard but the lower part wouldnt go in so we had to take 1/16" of the thickness of that same lip and there we go.

I'll post pics later tonight.

My tool of choice was a dremel...and with some touch up the delta ring looks alot nicer now.

I wish I could tell you which tools we use to do the work but I have no clue because its my engineer that did the work. The delta ring wasnt touched he only worked on the handguard to fit it properly. I'll show you the pics tonight when I come back home.

P.S. : If you own a Norc M4 and are thinking about changing the handguard for the Magpul MOE then you have to know that you'll have to screw around to make it fit on your rifle, its not easy but its not impossible if you have the tools to do it.

I was a little impatient and got out a screwdriver and began prying down on the D-ring which scuffed it...but some touch up and buffing makes her purdy again...
