They cant keep up with orders in the U.S.(Dealers cant keep them in stock OBAMAMANIA), Canada is not even on the radar. A dealer in Canada might order 500 for all of Canada's very small market, a small dealer in the U.S will order thousands and not need to bother Magpul with export paperwork. If you check out some US gun forums, some people order 100 mags at a time. Places like Magpul and LaRue are not looking to take on anymore retail dealers (Canada and U.S), as they cant keep up with demand right now. On top of that, Canada is such a small market and the time wasted and money to deal with export permits, does not put us on many U.S manufacturers map.

Keep in mind its the nature of firearms distribution in Canada.

There are few distributors, so they tend to distribute multiple products, those distributors are best served by pushing the product they have the highest return on.
 
yeah see 30$ is on the high end in my opinion... Like KevinB said he pays ~14$ USD each... +shipping +pinning +time +effort etc...

yeah IF he does it at 25$ each it'll surely bring down prices of Pmags in Canada... as right now it seems that the dealers can charge an arm and a leg... and no that's not an attack on their buisness sense... they're in it to make money too... but 300% mark up isn't "fair buisness"

And off course at 25$each or so Im buying from KevinB too :D

And yeah .. 500... wouldnt be enough as most people are picking up 10+

I agree. They have been out for awhile.

And now....you can't find any because of the AWB fear.

If someone finally gets some in... I would pay $25ea for a bunch (Retail + $10)... The 20rnd ones.
 
All the ones I got from Magpul where given to LE and MIL -- I would never sell something I got for free.

We are still in the process of starting up a company to do this in the US, it won't be happening soon.
 
I can't afford the $50 each that these are fetching in EE or I would buy more.

Has anybody gotten a time line from Magpul on when production is going to catch up with demand?

Does anybody have a source for these in Canada.

KevinB, are you still on target for importing these in the future?
